Beta Guide

Your drft beta guide

Read this guide before your first experience with drft. Come back anytime you have a question about drink, finding your dose, or completing the beta.

Tester ID

You'll use the same Tester ID for every survey so we can follow your experience through the beta. It's printed on the card included with your drft beta kit.

Welcome to the drft beta

Thank you for helping shape drft before its public release. Your experience and feedback will help us refine the formula so every future serving is a little better.

Simply enjoiy drft as directed, pay attention to how it feels, and share what you notice. Honest feedback, whether positive or critical, is the most valuable.

How the beta works

Begin with the Start Here survey, complete a short check-in after each experience, then finish with the Final Reflection once you’ve had enough time with drft.

Preparing your drink

Mix drft slowly into water or your preferred non-alcoholic drink. Let it settle for a minute, then stir once more before drinking for the most consistent experience.

Recommended starting amount

Start with the recommended beta amount included with your welcome card, especially for your first experience.

Each packet is designed to be combined, making it easy to adjust in 0.25 serving steps.

Examples:

  • 0.75 + 0.25 = 1.0 serving

  • 0.50 + 0.25 = 0.75 serving

  • 1.00 + 0.25 = 1.25 servings

Consistency is more valuable than intensity during the beta.

Adjusting your dose

If your first experience feels too subtle or stronger than you'd like, adjust your next serving by 0.25 serving. For example, move from 0.75 to 1.0, or from 1.0 to 1.25, by combining the appropriate sample packets. Avoid larger changes so it's easier to understand how each adjustment affected your experience.

The goal isn't to find the strongest dose. It's to find the dose that feels right for you.

When to take drft

Choose a quiet evening when you don't need to rush anywhere. Give yourself time to notice how drft feels without distractions or expectations.

Recording your experience

Complete your check-in while the experience is still fresh. Small details often become the most valuable feedback when improving drft.

What to expect

drft is designed to create a gentle shift rather than a dramatic change. Every experience is a little different, and the dose that feels right for one person may not be the same for another. Whether your experience feels subtle or more noticeable, neither is better than the other.

Rather than looking for one specific feeling, simply notice what stands out. You may find yourself feeling more at ease physically, mentally, or emotionally. Perhaps your body feels more relaxed, your mind unwinds a little more easily, your mood feels lighter, or the transition into your evening feels more natural. There is no "right" experience.

The goal isn't to feel the most. It's to find the dose that feels right for you.

A few things to keep in mind

drft isn't intended to make you sleepy. It's designed to help you arrive at a calmer place. Many people find that relaxation happens naturally from there.

During the beta, use drft on its own so you can clearly notice its effects. Avoid alcohol, driving, operating machinery, or other activities that require your full attention. If something doesn't feel right, pause and let us know.

Beta FAQs

When should I submit feedback?
Complete a check-in after each experience while it's still fresh.

What if I miss a survey?
Just complete the next one and mention that you skipped a session.

Can I change my dose?
Yes. Adjust by one step (0.25 servings) at a time and only after you've completed a check-in for your previous dose.

What if I don't feel much?
A subtle experience can still be the right experience. If you are happy with how you feel, there's no need to increase your dose. If you'd like to explore a little more, adjust by one step for your next session and compare how it feels.

What if it feels stronger than I'd like?
Reduce your next serving by one step. The goal is to find the dose that feels comfortable for you.

Can I drink drft with alcohol?
No. For the beta, use drft on its own so your feedback reflects the experience as accurately as possible.
